Deuteronomy 1:43

I spoke to you, but you did not listen. Instead you rebelled against the Lord and recklessly went up to the hill country.

But they dared to go up to the crest of the hill, although neither the ark of the covenant of the Lord nor Moses departed from the camp.

But they rebelled and offended his holy Spirit, so he turned into an enemy and fought against them.

"You stubborn people, with uncircumcised hearts and ears! You are always resisting the Holy Spirit, like your ancestors did!

because the outlook of the flesh is hostile to God, for it does not submit to the law of God, nor is it able to do so.
