21 You may not have as food anything which has come to a natural death; the man from another country who is living with you may take it for food, or you may get a price for it from one of another nation; for you are a holy people to the Lord your God. The young goat is not to be cooked in its mother's milk.

21 Ye shall not eat of any thing that dieth of itself: thou shalt give it unto the stranger that is in thy gates, that he may eat it; or thou mayest sell it unto an alien: for thou art an holy people unto the LORD thy God. Thou shalt not seethe a kid in his mother's milk.

21 "You must not eat any carcass. But you may give it to the alien in your cities so he may eat it or sell it to a foreigner, for you are a holy people to the LORD your God. "You must not cook a young goat in its mother's milk."

A Tenth For The Lord

22 Put on one side a tenth of all the increase of your seed, produced year by year.

22 Thou shalt truly tithe all the increase of thy seed, that the field bringeth forth year by year.

22 “You (K)shall surely tithe all the produce from (p)what you sow, which comes out of the field every year.

22 “Each year you are to set aside a tenth of all the produce grown in your fields.

22 "Be sure to tithe annually from everything you plant that yields a harvest in the field.

23 And make a feast before the Lord your God, in the place which is to be marked out, where his name will be for ever, of the tenth part of your grain and your wine and your oil, and the first births of your herds and your flocks; so that you may have the fear of the Lord your God in your hearts at all times.

23 And thou shalt eat before the LORD thy God, in the place which he shall choose to place his name there, the tithe of thy corn, of thy wine, and of thine oil, and the firstlings of thy herds and of thy flocks; that thou mayest learn to fear the LORD thy God always.

23 You shall eat in the presence of the Lord your God, (L)at the place where He chooses to establish His name, the tithe of your grain, your new wine, your oil, and the firstborn of your herd and your flock, so that you may (M)learn to fear the Lord your God always.

23 You are to eat a tenth of your grain, new wine, and oil, and the firstborn of your herd and flock, in the presence of Yahweh your God at the place where He chooses to have His name dwell,(H) so that you will always learn to fear(I) the Lord your God.

23 Then in the presence of the LORD your God, in the place where he'll choose to establish his name, you may consume the tithe of your grain, your new wine, your oil, and the firstborn of your livestock and flock, so that you'll learn to revere the LORD your God all your life.

24 And if the way is so long that you are not able to take these things to the place marked out by the Lord your God for his name, when he has given you his blessing, because it is far away from you;

24 And if the way be too long for thee, so that thou art not able to carry it; or if the place be too far from thee, which the LORD thy God shall choose to set his name there, when the LORD thy God hath blessed thee:

24 If the (q)distance is so great for you that you are not able to (r)bring the tithe, since the place where the Lord your God chooses (N)to set His name is too far away from you when the Lord your God blesses you,

24 But if the distance is too great for you to carry it, since the place where Yahweh your God chooses to put His name is too far away from you and since the Lord your God has blessed you,

24 Now the way may be distant from you, so that you are unable to transport your tithe because you have been blessed by the LORD your God and the place where the LORD your God chooses to establish his name may be distant from you.

25 Then let these things be exchanged for money, and, taking the money in your hand, go to the place marked out by the Lord your God for himself;

25 Then shalt thou turn it into money, and bind up the money in thine hand, and shalt go unto the place which the LORD thy God shall choose:

25 then you shall (s)exchange it for money, and bind the money in your hand and go to the place which the Lord your God chooses.

25 then exchange it for money, take the money in your hand, and go to the place the Lord your God chooses.

25 In that case, convert it into cash, secure the money, and then bring it to the place where the LORD will choose.

26 And with the money get whatever you have a desire for, oxen or sheep or wine or strong drink, whatever your soul's desire may be: and make a feast there before the Lord your God, and be glad, you and all your house;

26 And thou shalt bestow that money for whatsoever thy soul lusteth after, for oxen, or for sheep, or for wine, or for strong drink, or for whatsoever thy soul desireth: and thou shalt eat there before the LORD thy God, and thou shalt rejoice, thou, and thine household,

26 You may spend the money for whatever your (t)heart desires: for oxen, or sheep, or wine, or strong drink, or whatever your (u)heart (v)desires; and (O)there you shall eat in the presence of the Lord your God and rejoice, you and your household.

26 You may spend the money on anything you want: cattle, sheep, wine, beer, or anything you desire. You are to feast there in the presence of the Lord your God and rejoice with your family.

26 You may spend the money to your heart's content to buy livestock, flocks, wine, strong drink, and whatever you desire. You and your household may eat there and rejoice in the presence of the LORD your God."

27 And give a thought to the Levite who is living among you, for he has no part or heritage in the land.

27 And the Levite that is within thy gates; thou shalt not forsake him; for he hath no part nor inheritance with thee.

27 Also you shall not neglect (P)the Levite who is in your (w)town, (Q)for he has no portion or inheritance among you.

27 Do not neglect the Levite within your gates, since he has no portion or inheritance among you.(J)

27 "But you must not forget the descendant of Levi in your town because there is no tribal allotment for him as there is for you.

28 At the end of every three years take a tenth part of all your increase for that year, and put it in store inside your walls:

28 At the end of three years thou shalt bring forth all the tithe of thine increase the same year, and shalt lay it up within thy gates:

28 (R)At the end of every third year you shall bring out all the tithe of your produce in that year, and shall deposit it in your (x)town.

28 “At the end of every three years, bring a tenth of all your produce for that year and store it within your gates.

28 Every third year, bring all the tithes of your produce of that year and store it in your cities

29 And the Levite, because he has no part or heritage in the land, and the man from a strange country, and the child who has no father, and the widow, who are living among you, will come and take food and have enough; and so the blessing of the Lord your God will be on you in everything you do.

29 And the Levite, (because he hath no part nor inheritance with thee,) and the stranger, and the fatherless, and the widow, which are within thy gates, shall come, and shall eat and be satisfied; that the LORD thy God may bless thee in all the work of thine hand which thou doest.

29 The Levite, (S)because he has no portion or inheritance among you, and (T)the alien, the (y)orphan and the widow who are in your (z)town, shall come and (U)eat and be satisfied, in order that (V)the Lord your God may bless you in all the work of your hand which you do.

29 Then the Levite, who has no portion or inheritance among you, the foreigner, the fatherless, and the widow within your gates may come, eat, and be satisfied.(K) And the Lord your God will bless you in all the work of your hands that you do.(L)

29 so the descendants of Levi who have no tribal allotment as you do foreigners, orphans, and widows who live in your cities may come, eat, and be satisfied. That way, the LORD your God shall bless you in everything you do."
