Thou shalt not wrest judgment; thou shalt not respect persons, neither take a gift: for a gift doth blind the eyes of the wise, and pervert the words of the righteous.
“Then I charged your judges at that time, saying, ‘Hear the cases between your
fellow countrymen, and judge righteously between a man and his fellow countryman, or the alien who is with him.
For the Lord your God is the God of gods and the Lord of lords, the great, the mighty, and the awesome God who does not show partiality nor take a bribe.
Keep far from a false charge, and do not kill the innocent or the righteous, for I will not acquit the guilty.
These also are sayings of the wise.
show partiality in judgment is not good.
Opening his mouth, Peter said:“I most certainly understand now that God is not one to show partiality,
“If a man strikes the eye of his male or female slave, and destroys it, he shall let him go free on account of his eye.
You shall not pervert the justice due to your needy brother in his dispute.
You shall do no injustice in judgment; you shall not be partial to the poor nor defer to the great, but you are to judge your neighbor fairly.
If you make a sale, moreover, to your friend or buy from your friend’s hand,
you shall not wrong one another.
then your elders and your judges shall go out and measure the distance to the cities which are around the slain one.
If there is a dispute between men and they go to court, and the judges decide their case, and they justify the righteous and condemn the wicked,
Cursed is he who accepts a bribe to strike down an innocent person.’ And all the people shall say, ‘Amen.’
2 Chronicles 19:5
judges in the land in all the fortified cities of Judah, city by city.
A wicked man receives a bribe from the bosom
pervert the ways of justice.
Open your mouth, judge righteously,
defend the rights of the afflicted and needy.
Do not judge according to appearance, but judge with righteous judgment.”
there is no partiality with God.
