and say unto them, 'Hear Israel, ye are come unto battle against your enemies, let not your hearts faint, neither fear nor be amazed nor a dread of them.

One of you shall chase a thousand: for the LORD your God he fighteth for you, as he hath said unto you.

I will not be afraid for ten thousands of the people that have set themselves against me.

{A Psalm of David} The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom then should I fear? The LORD is the strength of my life; of whom then shall I be afraid?

"Round with none of them, whosoever say, 'Yonder people are bound together.' Nevertheless fear them not, neither be afraid of them,

Therefore thus sayeth the LORD God: "Behold, I will lay a stone in Zion, a great stone, a costly corner stone, for a sure foundation: that whoso putteth his trust in him, shall not be confounded.

And therefore strengthen the weak hands, and comfort the feeble knees.

Be not afraid, for I will be with thee. Look not behind thee, for I will be thy God, to strengthen thee, help thee, and to keep thee with this righthand of mine.

Thou hast made thy bed upon high mountains; thou wentest up thither, and there hast thou slain sacrifices.

And he said unto them, "Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith?" Then he arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there followed a great calm.

"Behold, I send you forth as sheep among wolves: Be ye therefore wise as serpents, and innocent as doves.

And fear ye not them which kill the body, and be not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body into hell.

Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows.

And he said unto them, "Be not afraid. Ye seek Jesus of Nazareth, which was crucified. He is risen, he is not here. Behold the place, where they put him.

and shall kill serpents. And if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them. They shall lay their hands on the sick, and they shall recover."

Then spake the Lord to Paul in the night by a vision, "Be not afraid, but speak, and hold not thy peace:

saying, 'Fear not Paul, for thou must be brought before Caesar. And lo, God hath given unto thee all that sail with thee.'

Put on the armour of God, that ye may stand steadfast against the crafty assaults of the devil.

See that none recompense evil for evil unto any man: but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all men.

Fight the good fight of faith. Lay hand on eternal life, whereunto thou art called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.

Stretch forth therefore again the hands which were let down, and the weak knees,

That we may boldly say, "The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man doeth unto me."

Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer. Behold, the devil shall cast of you into prison, to tempt you, and ye shall have tribulation ten days. Be faithful unto the death, and I will give thee a crown of life.
