Deuteronomy 7:17

Detailed Stipulations

¹⁶ You shall consume all the peoples whom Yahweh your God shall deliver to you; your eye shall not pity them: neither shall you serve their gods; for that will be a snare to you. ¹⁷ If you shall say in your heart, "These nations are more than I; how can I dispossess them?" ¹⁸ you shall not be afraid of them: you shall well remember what Yahweh your God did to Pharaoh, and to all Egypt;

Drive Them Out

Numbers 33:53

and you shall take possession of the land, and dwell therein; for I have given given the land to you to possess it.

Numbers 13:32

They brought up an evil report of the land which they had spied out to the children of Israel, saying, "The land, through which we have gone to spy it out, is a land that eats up its inhabitants; and all the people who we saw in it are men of great stature.
