In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:
given as a pledge of our inheritance, with a view to the redemption of God’s own possession, to the praise of His glory.
The Lord knows the days of the blameless,
inheritance will be forever.
And now I
commend you to God and to the word of His grace, which is able to build you up and to give you the inheritance among all those who are sanctified.
to open their eyes so that they may turn from darkness to light and from the dominion of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who have been sanctified by faith in Me.’
and if children,
heirs also, heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him so that we may also be glorified with Him.
if the inheritance is based on law, it is no longer based on a promise; but God has granted it to Abraham by means of a promise.
giving thanks to
the Father, who has qualified us to share in the inheritance of the saints in Light.
knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance. It is the Lord Christ whom you serve.
so that being justified by His grace we would be made
heirs according to the hope of eternal life.
my beloved brethren: did not God choose the poor of this world to be rich in faith and heirs of the kingdom which He promised to those who love Him?

to obtain an
inheritance which is imperishable and undefiled and will not fade away, reserved in heaven for you,

not returning evil for evil or insult for insult, but giving a blessing instead; for you were called for the very purpose that you might inherit a blessing.
He predestined us to adoption as sons through Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the kind intention of His will,
made known to us the mystery of His will, according to His kind intention which He purposed in Him

from the earliest times of the earth.
From the beginning,
Says the Lord, who makes these things known from long ago.
This was in
accordance with the eternal purpose which He carried out in Christ Jesus our Lord,
