Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh (who were called the uncircumcision, by that which is called the circumcision made with hands in the flesh) Were at that time without Christ,

And you that were once alienated, and enemies in your mind by wicked works,

who had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.

After that ye heard

and been taught by him, (as the truth is in Jesus) To put off,

but grace and truth was by Jesus Christ.

But thanks be to God, that, whereas ye were the servants of sin, ye have now obeyed from the heart the form of doctrine into which ye have been delivered.

But how shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in him, of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher?
