and say unto them, 'Hear Israel, ye are come unto battle against your enemies, let not your hearts faint, neither fear nor be amazed nor a dread of them.

Children are weary and faint, and the strongest men fall:

In that time it shall be said unto Jerusalem, "Fear not," and to Zion, "Let not thine hands be slack,

and strengthened the disciples souls: exhorting them to continue in the faith, affirming that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God.

Let us not be weary of well doing. For when the time is come we shall reap without weariness.

Brethren, be not weary in well doing.

Consider therefore how that he endured such speaking against him of sinners, lest ye should be wearied and faint in your minds.

and sent Timothy our brother and minister of God, and our labour fellow in the gospel of Christ, to establish you, and to comfort you over your faith,
