Haman Is Promoted

¹ After these words the king Ahasuerus magnified Haman, son of Hammedatha the Agagite; and he will lift him up and set his seat above all the chiefs that were with him. ² And all the king's servants which were in the king's gate were bowing and worshiping to Haman; for thus the king commanded for him. And Mordecai will not bow, and he will not worship. ³ And the king's servants that were in the king's gate will say to Mordecai, Wherefore dost thou pass by the king's Command?
