If you are slack in the day of distress,
Your strength is limited.

Then Jesus said to His disciples, “If anyone wishes to come after Me, he must deny himself, and take up his cross and follow Me.

He who loves his life loses it, and he who hates his life in this world will keep it to life eternal.

for the work of Christ, risking his life to complete what was deficient in your service to me.

For consider Him who has endured such hostility by sinners against Himself, so that you will not grow weary
