Exodus 2:21

Moses was content to live with the man. He gave Moses his daughter Zipporah.

I have been with you now for twenty years. Your sheep and your goats have not failed to reproduce. I have not even eaten any rams from your flocks.

When he was old enough, she took him to the king's daughter, who adopted him. She named him Moses because she said: I pulled him out of the water.

So Moses took his wife and his sons and mounted them on a donkey and returned to the land of Egypt. Moses also took the staff of God in his hand.

Moses sent his wife Zipporah and her two sons to stay with Jethro. Jethro welcomed them.

Miriam and Aaron criticized Moses because he was married to a Cushite woman from Sudan.

I am not saying this because I am in need; for I have learned to be content in whatever state I am.

Godliness with contentment is great gain.

He chose to share the bad treatment with the people of God, rather than enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season.

You should be free from the love of money. Be content with what you have, for he has said: I will not leave you. I will not forsake you.

But the rich must be glad when God humbles them. This is because they will wither like wildflowers and pass away.

And Moses was content to dwell with the man: and he gave Moses Zipporah his daughter.
