Midianite traders passed by, so they pulled him up and lifted Joseph out of the pit, and sold him to the Ishmaelites for twenty shekels of silver. Thus they brought Joseph into Egypt.
I said to them, “If it is good in your sight, give me my
wages; but if not, never mind!” So they weighed out thirty shekels of silver as my wages.
and said, “What are you willing to give me
to betray Him to you?” And they weighed out thirty pieces of silver to him.
Judas, who had betrayed Him, saw that He had been condemned, he felt remorse and returned the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and elders,
emptied Himself, taking the form of a bond-servant, and being made in the likeness of men.
And the ox
“If an ox gores a man or a woman
to death, the ox shall surely be stoned and its flesh shall not be eaten; but the owner of the ox shall go unpunished.
