Laws For Three Festivals

¹³ “Pay strict attention to everything I have said to you. You must not invoke the names of other gods; they must not be heard on your lips. ¹⁴ “Celebrate a festival in My honor three times a year. ¹⁵ Observe the Festival of Unleavened Bread. As I commanded you, you are to eat unleavened bread for seven days at the appointed time in the month of Abib, because you came out of Egypt in that month. No one is to appear before Me empty-handed.

Three Times

Deuteronomy 16:16

“All your males are to appear three times a year before the Lord your God in the place He chooses: at the Festival of Unleavened Bread, the Festival of Weeks, and the Festival of Booths. No one is to appear before the Lord empty-handed.

Exodus 23:17

Three times a year all your males are to appear before the Lord God.

Exodus 34:22-24

“Observe the Festival of Weeks with the firstfruits of the wheat harvest, and the Festival of Ingathering at the turn of the agricultural year.

Leviticus 23:5

The Passover to the Lord comes in the first month, at twilight on the fourteenth day of the month.

Leviticus 23:16

You are to count 50 days until the day after the seventh Sabbath and then present an offering of new grain to the Lord.

Leviticus 23:34

“Tell the Israelites: The Festival of Booths to the Lord begins on the fifteenth day of this seventh month and continues for seven days.
