They will give a testimony of Your great goodness and will joyfully sing of Your righteousness.
Therefore don't let anyone judge you in regard to food and drink or in the matter of a festival or a new moon or a sabbath day.
Let us enter His presence with thanksgiving; let us shout triumphantly to Him in song.
"Celebrate a festival in My honor three times a year
The Lord had done great things for us; we were joyful.
Also [observe] the Festival of Harvest with the firstfruits of your produce from what you sow in the field, and [observe] the Festival of Ingathering at the end of the year, when you gather your produce from the field.
You observe [special] days, months, seasons, and years.
"Observe the month of Abib and celebrate the Passover to the Lord your God, because the Lord your God brought you out of Egypt by night in the month of Abib.
"This day is to be a memorial for you, and you must celebrate it as a festival to the Lord. You are to celebrate it throughout your generations as a permanent statute.
Your singing will be like that on the night of a holy festival, And [your] heart will rejoice like one who walks [to the music] of a flute, going up to the mountain of the Lord, to the Rock of Israel.
I hate, I despise your feasts! I can't stand the stench of your solemn assemblies.
"You are to celebrate the Festival of Booths for seven days when you have gathered in [everything] from your threshing floor and winepress.
Let us shout for joy at your victory and lift the banner in the name of our God. May the Lord fulfill all your requests.
Rejoice with those who rejoice; weep with those who weep.
Thanksgiving will come out of them, a sound of celebration. I will multiply them, and they will not decrease; I will honor them, and they will not be insignificant.
On the contrary, when you host a banquet, invite those who are poor, maimed, lame, or blind.

There are shouts of joy and victory in the tents of the righteous: "The Lord's right hand strikes with power!
I will put an end to all her celebrations: her feasts, New Moons, and Sabbaths- all her festivals.
For Sheol cannot thank You; Death cannot praise You. Those who go down to the Pit cannot hope for Your faithfulness.
Then he said to them, "Go and eat what is rich, drink what is sweet, and send portions to those who have nothing prepared, since today is holy to our Lord. Do not grieve, because your strength [comes from] rejoicing in the Lord."
You may spend the money on anything you want: cattle, sheep, wine, beer, or anything you desire. You are to feast there in the presence of the Lord your God and rejoice with your family.
Then the Festival of Dedication took place in Jerusalem, and it was winter.
It is better to go to a house of mourning than to go to a house of feasting, since that is the end of all mankind, and the living should take it to heart.
I hate your New Moons and prescribed festivals. They have become a burden to Me; I am tired of putting up with [them].
[from] those who enjoy doing evil and celebrate perversity,
You are to celebrate it as a festival to the Lord seven days each year. This is a permanent statute for you throughout your generations; you must celebrate it in the seventh month.
"The kingdom of heaven may be compared to a king who gave a wedding banquet for his son.
[He ordered] them to celebrate the fourteenth and fifteenth days of the month Adar every year
Doom has come on you, inhabitants of the land. The time has come; the day is near. There will be panic on the mountains and not celebration.

Then all the survivors from the nations that came against Jerusalem will go up year after year to worship the King, the Lord of Hosts, and to celebrate the Festival of Booths.
He sent out his slaves to summon those invited to the banquet, but they didn't want to come.
"In the first [month], on the fourteenth day of the month, you are to celebrate the Passover, a festival of seven days [during which] unleavened bread will be eaten.

Solomon and all Israel with him-a great assembly, from the entrance of Hamath to the Brook of Egypt-observed the festival at that time in the presence of the Lord our God, seven days, and seven [more] days-14 days.
