If thou meet thine enemy's ox or his ass going astray, thou shalt surely bring it back to him again.

But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you,

I tell you, my hearers, love your enemies, do good to those who hate you:

Never pay back evil for evil to anyone; aim to be above reproach in the eyes of all;

see that none of you pays back evil for evil, but always aim at what is kind to one another and to all the world;
