Instructions For Consecrating Aaron And His Sons

¹¹ then shalt thou slay the bullock before Yahweh, - at the opening of the tent of meeting: ¹² and thou shalt take of the blood of the bullock, and place upon the horns of the altar, with thy finger, - and all the remaining blood, shalt thou pour out at the foundation of the altar; ¹³ and thou shalt take all the fat that covereth the inner part, and the caul upon the liver, and the two kidneys, with the fat which is upon them, and burn as incense on the altar:

Exodus 27:2

And thou shalt make its horns upon its four corners, of the same, shall be its horns, - and thou shalt overlay it with copper.

Leviticus 8:15

Then was it slain, and Moses took the blood and put thereof upon the horns of the altar round about, with his finger, and cleansed the altar from sin, - and the remainder of the blood, poured he forth at the base of the altar, and hallowed it putting a propitiatory-covering thereupon.
