And Aaron and his sons thou shalt bring unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and shalt wash them with water.
Unto the door
You shall make a screen for the doorway of the tent of blue and purple and scarlet material and fine twisted linen, the work of a weaver.
Then he set up the
veil for the doorway of the tabernacle.
and assemble all the congregation at the doorway of the tent of meeting.”
“You shall also make
a laver of bronze, with its base of bronze, for washing; and you shall put it between the tent of meeting and the altar, and you shall put water in it.
Then you shall
bring Aaron and his sons to the doorway of the tent of meeting and wash them with water.
Moses had Aaron and his sons come near and washed them with water.
The one to be cleansed shall then wash his clothes and shave off all his hair and bathe in water and be clean. Now afterward, he may enter the camp, but he shall stay outside his tent for seven days.
But it shall be when evening approaches, he shall bathe himself with water, and at sundown he may
reenter the camp.
Then I will
sprinkle clean water on you, and you will be clean; I will cleanse you from all your filthiness and from all your idols.
Peter *said to Him, “Never shall You wash my feet!” Jesus answered him,
“ If I do not wash you, you have no part with Me.”
so that He might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word,
He saved us, not on the basis of deeds which we have done in righteousness, but according to His mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit,
draw near with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water.

Corresponding to that, baptism now saves you— not the removal of dirt from the flesh, but an appeal to God for a good conscience—through the resurrection of Jesus Christ,
and from Jesus Christ,
the faithful witness, the firstborn of the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth. To Him who loves us and released us from our sins by His blood—
and the priest who pronounces him clean shall present the man to be cleansed and the
aforesaid before the Lord at the doorway of the tent of meeting.
