Then Moses said to the Lord, "O my Lord, I am not an eloquent man, neither in the past nor since you have spoken to your servant, for I am slow of speech and slow of tongue."

But Moses replied to the Lord, "If the Israelites did not listen to me, then how will Pharaoh listen to me, since I speak with difficulty?"

David said to Saul, "Who am I? Who are my relatives or the clan of my father in Israel that I should become the king's son-in-law?"

King David went in, sat before the Lord, and said, "Who am I, O Lord God, and what is my family, that you should have brought me to this point?

Now, O Lord my God, you have made your servant king in my father David's place, even though I am only a young man and am inexperienced.

I said, "Too bad for me! I am destroyed, for my lips are contaminated by sin, and I live among people whose lips are contaminated by sin. My eyes have seen the king, the Lord who commands armies."

I answered, "Oh, Lord God, I really do not know how to speak well enough for that, for I am too young."

But when he was about forty years old, it entered his mind to visit his fellow countrymen the Israelites.

to the latter an odor from death to death, but to the former a fragrance from life to life. And who is adequate for these things?
