The Anointing Oil

²⁴ and cassia five hundred, by the shekel of the sanctuary, and olive oil a hin; ²⁵ and thou hast made it a holy anointing oil, a compound mixture, work of a compounder; it is a holy anointing oil. ²⁶ 'And thou hast anointed with it the tent of meeting, and the ark of the testimony,

Exodus 37:29

and he maketh the holy anointing oil, and the pure spice-perfume -- work of a compounder.

Numbers 35:25

'And the company have delivered the man-slayer out of the hand of the redeemer of blood, and the company have caused him to turn back unto the city of his refuge, whither he hath fled, and he hath dwelt in it till the death of the chief priest, who hath been anointed with the holy oil.
