Plague One: Blood

¹³ Yet Pharaoh’s heart was hardened, and he did not listen to them, as the Lord had said. ¹⁴ Then the Lord said to Moses, “Pharaoh’s heart is stubborn; he refuses to let the people go. ¹⁵ Go to Pharaoh in the morning as he is going out to the water, and station yourself to meet him on the bank of the Nile; and you shall take in your hand the staff that was turned into a serpent.

Exodus 8:15

But when Pharaoh saw that there was relief, he hardened his heart and did not listen to them, as the Lord had said.

See to it that you do not refuse Him who is speaking. For if those did not escape when they refused him who warned them on earth, much less will we escape who turn away from Him who warns from heaven.
