And the LORD spake unto Moses, Say unto Aaron, Take thy rod, and stretch out thine hand upon the waters of Egypt, upon their streams, upon their rivers, and upon their ponds, and upon all their pools of water, that they may become blood; and that there may be blood throughout all the land of Egypt, both in vessels of wood, and in vessels of stone.

Then the Lord said to Moses, “Say to Aaron, ‘Stretch out your hand with your staff over the rivers, over the streams and over the pools, and make frogs come up on the land of Egypt.’”

Now the Lord said to Moses, “Stretch out your hand toward the sky, that

hail may fall on all the land of Egypt, on man and on beast and on every plant of the field, throughout the land of Egypt.”

Then the Lord said to Moses, “Stretch out your hand over the land of Egypt for the locusts, that they may come up on the land of Egypt and eat every plant of the land, even all that the hail has left.”

Then Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and the Lord

swept the sea back by a strong east wind all night and turned the sea into dry land, so the waters were divided.

God called the dry land earth, and the gathering of the waters He called seas; and God saw that it was good.
