I say

The life of every person belongs to me. The life of the father as well as the life of the son is mine. The person who sins will die.

But if the watchman sees the enemy coming and does not blow his horn to warn the people and the enemy comes and kills someone, that watchman must die because of his sin. I will hold him responsible for their deaths.'

But you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. When you eat of it you will surely die.

However, God did say: 'You must not eat fruit from the tree that is in the middle of the garden. You must not touch it, or you will die.'

Jehovah said: They must all die in the desert wilderness. The only ones left were Caleb son of Jephunneh and Joshua son of Nun.

Tell the king Jehovah says: 'You will not recover from your injuries. You will in fact die!' Elijah did as Jehovah commanded.

How horrible it will be for the wicked! Disaster will strike them. What they have done to others will be done to them.

It does not! I tell you; if you do not turn from your sins, you will die as they did.

For you know this with certainty, that no fornicator, no unclean person, no covetous man, who is an idolater, has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.

To save

That is why I will judge each of you by what you have done, people of Israel, declares the Lord Jehovah. Change the way you think and act. (Repent!) Turn away from all the rebellious things that you have done so that you will not fall into sin.

He gave a thorough witness with many words and exhorted them, saying: Save yourselves from this indecent generation.

Repent therefore, and turn around, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times (seasons) of refreshing shall come from the presence of Jehovah. (Deuteronomy 18:18, 19)

Pay attention to yourself and to your teaching. Continue in these things. When you do this you will save both yourself and those who listen to you.

The wicked is driven away in his wickedness: but the righteous has hope in his death.

He said: I go away. You will seek me and will die in your sin. You cannot come where I go.

But

The Lord Jehovah says: 'I am against the shepherds! I will demand my sheep from them and make them cease from feeding sheep. So the shepherds will not feed themselves anymore. I will deliver my flock from their mouth, so that they will not be food for them.'

I will require your lifeblood as an accounting. I will demand an accounting from every animal. I will demand an accounting from each man for the life of his fellow man.

Reuben said: Did I not tell you? Did I say, 'Do not sin against the boy'? You would not listen! Now comes the reckoning for his blood.

How much more should I reward wicked men who kill an innocent man on his own bed in his home? Jehovah has rescued me from every trouble. I solemnly swear, as Jehovah lives, I will now seek revenge for his murder and rid the land of you.

The blood of all the prophets shed from the foundation of the world may be required of this generation.

I declare to you today that I am innocent of the blood of all men.

Do not lay your hands hastily on any man, neither be a partaker of other men's sins: keep yourself pure.
