1 Then he (the angel) brought me to the nave (outer sanctuary) and measured the side pillars; six cubits wide on each side was the width of the (a)side pillar.

2 The entrance was ten cubits wide and its door jambs were five cubits wide on each side. He measured the length of the nave at 40 cubits and its width at 20 cubits.
3 Then he went inside [the inner sanctuary] and measured each side pillar of the doorway, two cubits, and the doorway, six cubits [high], and the width of the doorway, seven cubits.(A)

3 He went inside the next room and measured the pilasters at the entrance;(C) they were 3½ feet(g) wide. The entrance was 10½ feet(h) wide, and the width of the entrance’s side walls on each side(i) was 12¼ feet.(j)
3 Then he went inside and measured the door jambs at two cubits wide and the doorway at six cubits high. The doorway was seven cubits wide.
4 He measured the length [of the interior of the inner sanctuary], twenty cubits, and the width, twenty cubits, (c)opposite the nave (outer sanctuary); and he said to me, “This is the (d)Most Holy Place.”
4 He measured its length, (H)twenty cubits, and the width, twenty cubits, before the (I)nave; and he said to me, “This is the (J)most holy place.”
4 So he measured the length thereof, twenty cubits; and the breadth, twenty cubits, before the temple: and he said unto me, This is the most holy place.
4 He then measured the length of the room adjacent to the great hall, 35 feet,(k) and the width, 35 feet.(D) And he said to me, “This is the most holy place.”(E)
4 He measured its length at 20 cubits, its width at 20 cubits in front of the structure, and then he told me, "This is the most holy area."
5 Then he measured the wall of the temple, six cubits [thick, to accommodate side chambers]; and the width of every side chamber, four cubits, all around the temple on every side.
5 Then he measured the wall of the (f)temple, six cubits; and the width of the (K)side chambers, four cubits, all around about the house on every side.

6 The side chambers were three stories [high], one above another, and thirty chambers in each story; and the side chambers extended to the wall which stood on their inward side all around, so that they would be attached, but not attached to the wall of the temple itself.
6 (L)The side chambers were in three stories, (g)one above another, and (h)thirty in each story; and (i)the side chambers (M)extended to the wall which stood on (j)their inward side all around, that they might be fastened, and not be fastened into the wall of the temple itself.
6 And the side chambers were three, one over another, and thirty in order; and they entered into the wall which was of the house for the side chambers round about, that they might have hold, but they had not hold in the wall of the house.
6 The side rooms were arranged one above another in three stories of 30 rooms each.(n) There were ledges on the wall of the temple all around to serve as supports for the side rooms, so that the supports would not be in the temple wall itself.(G)
6 The side chambers consisted of three stories, each above the other, with 30 chambers in each story. The side chambers extended out from the wall that faced the inside of the chambers where the chambers were fastened together, but the chamber walls were not fastened directly into the Temple walls themselves.
7 The side chambers became wider at each successive level as they encompassed the temple. Because the structure surrounding the temple went higher by stages on all sides of the temple, for that reason the width of the temple increased as it went higher; and thus one went up from the lowest story to the highest one by way of the (e)second story.
7 The side chambers surrounding the temple were wider at each successive story. Because the (N)structure surrounding the temple went upward by stages on all sides of the temple, therefore the width of the temple increased as it went higher; and thus one went up from the lowest story to the highest by way of the (k)second story.
7 And there was an enlarging, and a winding about still upward to the side chambers: for the winding about of the house went still upward round about the house: therefore the breadth of the house was still upward, and so increased from the lowest chamber to the highest by the midst.
7 The side rooms surrounding the temple widened at each successive story, for the structure surrounding the temple went up by stages. This was the reason for the temple’s broadness as it rose. And so, one would go up from the lowest story to the highest by means of the middle one.(o)(H)
7 The side chambers surrounding the Temple were wider at each successive story, because the surrounding structure ascended by proportional increments as it rose, ascending to the highest story by going up successively from the lowest.
8 I also saw that the temple (house) had a raised platform all around it; the foundations of the side chambers measured a full rod of six long cubits in height.

8 I saw also the height of the house round about: the foundations of the side chambers were a full reed of six great cubits.

11 The doorways of the side chambers toward the free space were one doorway toward the north and another doorway toward the south; and the width of the free space was five cubits all around.

11 The side rooms opened into the free space, one entrance toward the north and another to the south. The area of free space was 8¾ feet(s) wide all around.
11 The side chamber doorway facing the free space contained a single north-facing doorway and a second south-facing doorway. The width of the free space was five cubits all around the perimeter.
12 The building that was in front of the separate area on the side toward the west was seventy cubits wide; and the wall of the building was five cubits thick all around, and its length was ninety cubits.
12 The (T)building that was in front of the (U)separate area at the side toward the west was seventy cubits wide; and the wall of the building was five cubits (q)thick all around, and its length was ninety cubits.
12 Now the building that was before the separate place at the end toward the west was seventy cubits broad; and the wall of the building was five cubits thick round about, and the length thereof ninety cubits.
12 Now the building that faced the temple yard toward the west was 122½ feet(t) wide. The wall of the building was 8¾ feet(u) thick on all sides, and the building’s length was 157½ feet.(v)
12 The building that faced the west side of the courtyard was 70 cubits wide, and the building's wall was five cubits thick all around. It was 90 cubits long.
13 Then he measured the temple, a hundred cubits long; the separate area and the building with its walls were also a hundred cubits long.
13 Then he measured the temple, a (V)hundred cubits long; the (W)separate area with the (X)building and its walls were also a (Y)hundred cubits long.
13 So he measured the house, an hundred cubits long; and the separate place, and the building, with the walls thereof, an hundred cubits long;
13 Then the man measured the temple; it was 175 feet(w) long.(K) In addition, the temple yard and the building, including its walls, were 175 feet long.
13 Then he measured the Temple. It was 100 cubits long, and the courtyard, its building, and its walls were 100 cubits long.
14 Also the width of the front of the temple and the separate areas along the east side totaled a hundred cubits.

16 The thresholds, the latticed windows, and the galleries all around their three stories, opposite the threshold, were paneled with wood all around, and from the ground to the windows (but the windows were covered),

16 the thresholds, the shielded windows, and the surrounding three-storied galleries that stood opposite. From the ground to the shielded windows, they were paneled with wood all around,
17 over the entrance, and to the inner (f)room, and on the outside, and on all the wall all around inside and outside, by measurement.

19 a (AJ)man’s face toward the palm tree on one side and a young (AK)lion’s face toward the palm tree on the other side; they were (x)carved on all the house all around.
19 So that the face of a man was toward the palm tree on the one side, and the face of a young lion toward the palm tree on the other side: it was made through all the house round about.
19 a human face turned toward the palm tree on one side,(Q) and a lion’s face turned toward it on the other. They were carved throughout the temple on all sides.

20 From the (h)floor to [the space] above the entrance cherubim and palm decorations were carved, and also on the wall of the nave [the Holy Place].

22 The altar of wood was three cubits high, and the length thereof two cubits; and the corners thereof, and the length thereof, and the walls thereof, were of wood: and he said unto me, This is the table that is before the LORD.

25 Cherubim and palm trees were carved on the doors of the great hall like those carved on the walls. There was a wooden canopy(ad)(W) outside, in front of the portico.
25 The doors of the nave had carvings engraved on them, consisting of cherubim and palm trees identical to those on the walls. The front of the exterior porch was equipped with a wooden threshold.
26 There were latticed windows and palm decorations on one side and on the other, on the sides of the porch. Thus were the side chambers and the (m)thresholds of the house.
26 There were (af)(AY)latticed windows and (AZ)palm trees on one side and on the other, on the sides of the (BA)porch; thus were the (BB)side chambers of the house and the (ag)thresholds.
