And these are the measures of the altar after the cubits: The cubit is a cubit and an hand breadth; even the bottom shall be a cubit, and the breadth a cubit, and the border thereof by the edge thereof round about shall be a span: and this shall be the higher place of the altar.
“And you shall make
the altar of acacia wood, five cubits long and five cubits wide; the altar shall be square, and its height shall be three cubits.
2 Chronicles 4:1
he made a bronze altar, twenty cubits in length and twenty cubits in width and ten cubits in height.
And behold, there was a
wall on the outside of the temple all around, and in the man’s hand was a measuring rod of six cubits, each of which was a cubit and a handbreadth. So he measured the thickness of the wall, one rod; and the height, one rod.
I saw also that the house had a raised
platform all around; the foundations of the side chambers were a full rod of six long cubits in height.
