Then after three years I went up to Jerusalem to visit Cephas and get information from him, and I stayed with him fifteen days.

When Paul and Barnabas had a major argument and debate with them, the church appointed Paul and Barnabas and some others from among them to go up to meet with the apostles and elders in Jerusalem about this point of disagreement.

And the rest of the Jews also joined with him in this hypocrisy, so that even Barnabas was led astray with them by their hypocrisy.

They began to call Barnabas Zeus and Paul Hermes, because he was the chief speaker.
