But ye shall receive power from the holy Spirit coming upon you: and ye shall be my witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and Samaria, and to the uttermost part of the earth.
But Peter standing up with the eleven, raised his voice and said unto them, Ye men of Judea, and all ye that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and listen to my words:
And Peter seeing this said to the people, Men of Israel, why marvel ye at this, or why look ye so earnestly on us, as if by our own power or piety we had made this man able to walk?
But many of them who heard the word, believed: and the number of the men was about five thousand.
And by the hands of the apostles were many signs and wonders done among the people: And they all met with one accord in Solomon's portico:
and they received the holy Spirit.

He therefore that imparteth to you the Spirit, and worketh miracles among you, doth he it by the works of the law, or by the doctrine of faith?
But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way, for he is the instrument I have chosen, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel:
and as they were ministring to the Lord, and fasting, the holy Spirit said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul, for the work to which I have called them.
They therefore stayed a considerable time speaking freely of the Lord, who bare witness to the word of his grace, and gave signs and wonders to be done by their hands.
And all the multitude kept silence, and gave attention to Barnabas and Paul, relating what signs and wonders God had wrought among the Gentiles by them.
And God wrought extraordinary miracles by the hands of Paul:
And when he had saluted them, he gave a particular narrative of the things which God had done among the Gentiles by his ministry.
But he said unto me, Go away; for I will send thee far hence unto the Gentiles.---
delivering thee from the people and from the Gentiles, to whom I now send thee,
in all utterance and knowledge;
If I am not an apostle to others, yet doubtless I am to you: for ye are in the Lord the seal of my apostleship.
But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his favor to me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all; yet not I, but the grace of God that was with me.
For if he, that cometh to you, preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached; or if ye receive another Spirit which ye have not received, or another gospel which ye have not embraced, ye might indeed bear with him.
in order to which I also labour, striving earnestly according to his energy which operates in me with power.
