Terah took Abram his son, and Lot the son of Haran, his grandson, and Sarai his daughter-in-law, his son Abram’s wife; and they went out
together from Ur of the Chaldeans in order to enter the land of Canaan; and they went as far as Haran, and settled there.
So Abram went forth as the Lord had spoken to him; and
Lot went with him. Now Abram was seventy-five years old when he departed from Haran.
So Abram went up from Egypt to
the Negev, he and his wife and all that belonged to him, and Lot with him.
They also took Lot,
Abram’s nephew, and his possessions and departed, for he was living in Sodom.
two angels came to Sodom in the evening as Lot was sitting in the gate of Sodom. When Lot saw them, he rose to meet them and bowed down with his face to the ground.
