And the servant took ten camels of the camels of his master, and departed; for all the goods of his master were in his hand: and he arose, and went to Mesopotamia, unto the city of Nahor.
Abraham said to his servant, the oldest of his household, who had
charge of all that he owned, “ Please place your hand under my thigh,
found favor in his sight and became his personal servant; and he made him overseer over his house, and all that he owned he put in his charge.
because they did not meet you with food and water on the way when you came out of Egypt, and because they hired against you Balaam the son of Beor from Pethor of Mesopotamia, to curse you.
Then the anger of the Lord was kindled against Israel, so that He sold them into the hands of Cushan-rishathaim king of
Mesopotamia; and the sons of Israel served Cushan-rishathaim eight years.

went on his journey, and came to the land of the sons of the east.
