Jehovah said to Cain: Why are you angry? Why is your face downcast?

You declared Jehovah to be your God today. You said you would walk in his ways and keep his statutes, his commandments and his ordinances, and listen to his voice.

You pray to your god and I will pray to Jehovah. The God who answers with fire is God! All the people answered: It is well said.

I will bring a song of thanksgiving to you as a sacrifice. I will call on the name of Jehovah.

One person will say: I belong to Jehovah. Another person will call himself by the name of Jacob. Still another will write on his hand: Jehovah's. And he will take the name Israel.'

Listen to this, people of Israel, you that are descended from Judah. You swear by the name of Jehovah and claim to worship the God of Israel. However you do not mean a word you say.

We have become like those whom you never ruled, like those who are not called by your name.

The people of Judah and of Jerusalem will be rescued and will live in safety. The city will be called Jehovah is Our Righteousness.'

It will happen that who ever calls on the name of Jehovah will be saved. There will be those on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem that will escape, even among the survivors whom Jehovah calls.

I will give the peoples a pure language. They may all call upon the name of Jehovah, to serve him (united in total agreement and purpose) shoulder to shoulder.

It will come to pass, that whoever will call on the name of Jehovah will be saved. (Joel 2:32)

When he found him, he brought him to Antioch. They met with the congregation for a whole year. They taught many people. The disciples were first called Christians in Antioch.
