When the sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James, and Salome, after having bought aromatic drugs to embalm him,

Nicodemus, who formerly went to Jesus by night, came likewise and brought a mixture of myrrh and aloes, about an hundred pound weight.

for her pouring this ointment on my body, is preparative to my burial.
