John 19:39

Nicodemus, who formerly went to Jesus by night, came likewise and brought a mixture of myrrh and aloes, about an hundred pound weight.

a bruised reed shall he not break, and smoaking flax shall he not quench, till he hath made justice victorious.

but many that are first shall be last; and the last shall be first.

Now one of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, was there, a ruler of the Jews:

thereupon Nicodemus, he that came to Jesus by night, and was then present,

then said Jesus, let her alone: against the day of my burial hath she kept this.
