Besides, Scripture anticipated God's justification of the Gentiles by faith when it announced the gospel beforehand to Abraham in these terms: All nations shall be blessed in thee.

Day after day he taught within the temple. The high priests and scribes tried to have him put to death, and so did the leaders of the people,

One day, when he was teaching the people in the temple and preaching the gospel, up came the priests and scribes along with the elders.
