in these last days spoke to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, through whom also he made the worlds,

HAVING therefore a great chief priest who has gone through the heavens, Jesus, the Son of God, let us hold fast the profession.

The Father loves the Son, and has given all things into his hand.

And to the angel of the church in Thyatira write, These things says the Son of God, he that has his eyes like a flame of fire and his feet like fine brass,

Know you not that you are a temple of God and the Spirit of God dwells in you?

and what agreement has a temple of God with idols? For you are a temple of the living God; as God said, I will dwell in them, and I will walk in them, and I will be to them a God and they shall be to me a people.

by which all the building being fitted together grows into a holy temple in the Lord,

but if I delay, that you may know how you ought to conduct yourself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and foundation of the truth.

do you also yourselves be built up living stones, a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices well pleasing to God through Jesus Christ,

If

for we have been made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of the confidence firm to the end.

Let us use diligence, therefore to enter into that rest [the heavenly rest], that no one may fall, after the same example of disobedience.

But we desire each of you to show the same diligence to the full assurance of hope to the end,

let us hold firmly the profession of the faith, without declining; for he is faithful that promised;

and you shall be hated by all men for my sake. But he that endures to the end shall be saved.

but he that endures to the end shall be saved.

Let us not be weary of well doing; for in due season we shall reap if we faint not.

if indeed you continue founded and established in the faith, and not moved from the hope of the gospel which you heard, which was preached in all the creation under heaven; of which I, Paul, was made a minister.

but what you have, hold fast till I come.

I come quickly; keep what you have, that no man may take your crown.

Rejoicing

through whom also we have been introduced into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in the hope of the glory of God.

rejoice in the hope, be patient in affliction, be persevering in prayer,

And may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Rejoice always;

and our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and our God and Father, who has loved us and given us eternal consolation and a good hope by grace,

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who in his great mercy has begotten us to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,
