Hebrews 4:9

There remains then a Sabbath rest for the people of God.

So the people rested on the seventh day.

For you have not as yet come to the resting place and the inheritance that Jehovah your God is giving you.

Jehovah granted them peace throughout the land. This is just as he had promised their ancestors. Not one of all their enemies was able to stand against them, because Jehovah gave the Israelites the victory over all their enemies.

My people will live in a peaceful place, in safe homes and quiet places of rest.

He did not do many mighty works there because of their lack of faith.

We do not have a city that continues. We seek after the city that is to come.
