A Song Of Thanksgiving

1 And on that day you will say,“I will give thanks to You, O Lord;For though You were angry with me,Your anger has turned away,And You comfort me.

1 Then you will say on that day,(A)I will give thanks to You, O Lord;For (B)although You were angry with me,Your anger is turned away,And You comfort me.

1 And in that day thou shalt say, O LORD, I will praise thee: though thou wast angry with me, thine anger is turned away, and thou comfortedst me.

1 On that day you will say:“I will praise You, Lord,although You were angry with me.Your anger has turned away,and You have had compassion(A) on me.

1 At that time, you will say: "I will praise you, LORD, for although you were angry with me, your anger has turned away, and you have comforted me.

2 “Behold, God, my salvation!I will trust and not be afraid,For the Lord God is my strength and song;Yes, He has become my salvation.”

2 “Behold, (C)God is my salvation,I will (D)trust and not be afraid;For (E)the Lord God is my strength and song,And He has become my salvation.”

2 Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the LORD JEHOVAH is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation.

2 Indeed, God is my salvation;I will trust Him and not be afraid,for Yah, the Lord,is my strength and my song.He has become my salvation.”(B)

2 "Look! God yes God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid. For the LORD is my strength and my song, and he has become my salvation."

3 Therefore with joy you will draw waterFrom the springs of salvation.

3 Therefore you will joyously (F)draw waterFrom the (G)springs of salvation.

3 Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation.

3 You will joyfully draw water(C)from the springs of salvation,

3 You will draw water joyfully from the wells of salvation. And you will say at that time:

4 And in that day you will say,“Give thanks to the Lord, call on His name [in prayer].Make His deeds known among the peoples [of the earth];Proclaim [to them] that His name is exalted!”

4 And in that day you will (H)say,(I)Give thanks to the Lord, call on His name.(J)Make known His deeds among the peoples;(a)Make them remember that His name is exalted.”

4 And in that day shall ye say, Praise the LORD, call upon his name, declare his doings among the people, make mention that his name is exalted.

4 and on that day you will say:“Give thanks to Yahweh; proclaim His name!Celebrate His works among the peoples.(D)Declare that His name is exalted.

4 "Give thanks to the LORD; call on his name. Make known his actions among the nations. Proclaim that his name is exalted.

5 Sing praises to the Lord, for He has done excellent and glorious things;Let this be known throughout the earth.

5 (K)Praise the Lord in song, for He has done (b)excellent things;Let this be known throughout the earth.

5 Sing unto the LORD; for he hath done excellent things: this is known in all the earth.

5 Sing to Yahweh, for He has done glorious things.(E)Let this be known throughout the earth.

5 "Sing praises to the LORD, because he has acted gloriously, being made known in all the world.

6 Rejoice and shout for joy, O inhabitant of Zion,For great in your midst is the Holy One of Israel.

6 (L)Cry aloud and shout for joy, O inhabitant of Zion,For (M)great in your midst is the Holy One of Israel.

6 Cry out and shout, thou inhabitant of Zion: for great is the Holy One of Israel in the midst of thee.

6 Cry out and sing, citizen of Zion,for the Holy One of Israel(F) is among youin His greatness.”

6 Shout aloud, and sing for joy, you who live in Zion, because great in your midst is the Holy One of Israel."
