"Now these are the commands, decrees, and ordinances that the LORD commanded me to teach you. Obey them in the land you are entering to possess,

The LORD is good and just; therefore he will teach sinners concerning the way.

"Therefore, everyone who listens to these messages of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on a rock.

But he said, "Instead, how blessed are those who hear God's word and obey it!"

If anyone wants to do his will, he'll know whether this teaching is from God or whether I'm speaking on my own.

So I sent for you immediately, and it was good of you to come. All of us are here now in the presence of God to listen to everything the Lord has ordered you to say."

But the one who looks at the perfect law of freedom and remains committed to it thereby demonstrating that he is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of what that law requires will be blessed in what he does.

But I ask, "Didn't they hear?" Certainly they did! In fact, "Their voice has gone out into the whole world, and their words to the ends of the earth."
