Remember for my good, O my God, all that I have done for this people.

These are the generations of Noah. Noah was a righteous man, blameless in his generation. Noah walked with God.

When Abram was ninety-nine years old the LORD appeared to Abram and said to him, "I am God Almighty; walk before me, and be blameless,

that the LORD may establish his word that he spoke concerning me, saying, 'If your sons pay close attention to their way, to walk before me in faithfulness with all their heart and with all their soul, you shall not lack a man on the throne of Israel.'

Thus Hezekiah did throughout all Judah, and he did what was good and right and faithful before the LORD his God.

I have set the LORD always before me; because he is at my right hand, I shall not be shaken.

Blessed is the man against whom the LORDcounts no iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no deceit.

Wept

Then his servants said to him, "What is this thing that you have done? You fasted and wept for the child while he was alive; but when the child died, you arose and ate food."

While Ezra prayed and made confession, weeping and casting himself down before the house of God, a very great assembly of men, women, and children, gathered to him out of Israel, for the people wept bitterly.

As soon as I heard these words I sat down and wept and mourned for days, and I continued fasting and praying before the God of heaven.
