Treasury of Scripture Knowledge
And none considereth in his heart, neither is there knowledge nor understanding to say, I have burned part of it in the fire; yea, also I have baked bread upon the coals thereof; I have roasted flesh, and eaten it: and shall I make the residue thereof an abomination? shall I fall down to the stock of a tree?
Considereth in his heart
“ Remember this, and be assured; Recall it to mind, you transgressors.
Then Pharaoh turned and went into his house
with no concern even for this.
he said to them, “
Take to your heart all the words with which I am warning you today, which you shall command your sons to observe carefully, even all the words of this law.
The man said to me, “
Son of man, see with your eyes, hear with your ears, and give attention to all that I am going to show you; for you have been brought here in order to show it to you. Declare to the house of Israel all that you see.”
Now therefore, thus says the Lord of hosts, “
Consider your ways!
‘Cursed is the man who makes
an idol or a molten image, an abomination to the Lord, the work of the hands of the craftsman, and sets it up in secret.’ And all the people shall answer and say, ‘Amen.’

For Solomon went after
Ashtoreth the goddess of the Sidonians and after Milcom the detestable idol of the Ammonites.
2 Kings 23:13
The high places which were before Jerusalem, which were on the right of
the mount of destruction which Solomon the king of Israel had built for Ashtoreth the abomination of the Sidonians, and for Chemosh the abomination of Moab, and for Milcom the abomination of the sons of Ammon, the king defiled.
