Sing unto the LORD, a new song of thanksgiving; blow out his praise unto the end of the world. They that be upon the sea, and all that is therein, praise him; the Isles and they that dwell in them.

Be glad ye heavens, whom the LORD hath made, let all that is here beneath upon the earth, be joyful. Rejoice ye mountains and woods, with all the trees that are in you: for the LORD shall redeem Jacob, and show his glory upon Israel.

Be glad, O thou desolate Jerusalem, and rejoice together: for the LORD will comfort his people; he will deliver Jerusalem.

And so shall ye go forth with joy, and be lead with peace. The mountains and hills shall sing with you for joy, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.

Show yourselves joyful unto the LORD, all ye lands: sing, rejoice, and give thanks.

So that then thou shalt say, "I will praise thee O LORD, that though thou were angry with me, yet thine anger is turned, and thou hast comforted me.

Comfort my people, O ye prophets; comfort my people, sayeth your God.

For the LORD hath compassion on Zion and hath compassion on all that is decayed therein, and will make her wilderness as paradise, and her desert as the garden of the LORD. Joy and gladness shall be found therein, with thanksgiving and the voice of praise.

That I might declare the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of the vengeance of our God; that I might comfort all them that are in heaviness.

For like as a child is comforted of his mother, so shall I comfort you, and ye shall be comforted in Jerusalem.

Then shall the maid rejoice in the dance, yea both young and old folks. For I will turn their sorrow into gladness, and will comfort them and make them joyful, even from their hearts.

Nevertheless God, that comforteth the abject, comforted us at the coming of Titus.
