Isaiah 57:14

Every ravine shall be filled up, and every mountain and hill shall be made low; and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough ways smooth;

Let us not therefore judge one another, but judge this rather, not to place a stumbling-block or an offense before a brother.

we preach Christ crucified, to the Jews indeed an offense, and to the gentiles foolishness,

But beware lest your liberty should become an offense to the weak.

Wherefore, if food offends my brother, I will eat no meat forever, that I may not offend my brother.

Be without offense both to Jews and Greeks, and the church of God,

and make straight courses for your feet, that the lame may not be turned out of the way, but may rather be healed.
