Isaiah 7:14

The Immanuel Prophecy

¹³ And he said, Hear then, house of David: Is it a small matter for you to weary men, that ye weary also my God? ¹⁴ Therefore will the Lord himself give you a sign: Behold, the virgin shall conceive and shall bring forth a son, and call his name Immanuel. ¹⁵ Butter and honey shall he eat, that he may know to refuse the evil, and to choose the good.

Matthew 1:23

Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which is, being interpreted, 'God with us.'

Isaiah 8:8
