But the Pharisees hearing it, said, This man does not cast out demons, except by Beelzebul, a ruler of the demons.

and said, Sir, we remember that this deceiver said when he was yet alive, After three days I will rise.

And punishing them often in all the synagogues, I compelled them to blaspheme, and being exceedingly mad against them, I pursued them even to cities abroad.
