But above all things, my brethren, swear not, neither by heaven, neither by the earth, neither by any other oath: but let your yea be yea; and your nay, nay; lest ye fall into condemnation.

Let not many of you become teachers, my brethren, knowing that as such we will incur a stricter judgment.

If anyone is
hungry, let him eat at home, so that you will not come together for judgment. The remaining matters I will arrange when I come.
You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain, for the Lord will not leave him unpunished who takes His name in vain.
