Brethren if any of you err from the truth, and another convert him,

"Moreover, if thy brother trespass against thee, Go and tell him his fault between him and thee alone. If he hear thee, thou hast won thy brother:

Brethren, if any man be fallen by chance into any fault, ye which are spiritual, help to amend him, in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted.

Thou rebukest the proud; and cursed are they that depart from thy commandments.

Thou treadest down all them that depart from thy statutes, for they imagine but deceit.

My son, heareth no more the doctrine that leadeth thee away from the words of understanding.

Children are extortioners of my people, and women have rule of them. O my people, thy leaders deceive thee, and tread out the way of thy footsteps.

The weak have ye not holden up, the sick have ye not healed: the broken have ye not bound together, the outcasts have ye not brought again. The lost have ye not sought, but churlishly and cruelly have ye ruled them.

Such as be lost, will I seek; such as go astray, will I bring again; such as be wounded, will I bind up; such as be weak, will I make strong; such as be fat and well liking, those will I preserve and feed them with the thing that is lawful.

But I have prayed for thee that thy faith fail not. And when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren."

For covetousness is the root of all evil, which while some lusted after, they erred from the faith, and tangled themselves with many sorrows.

Stretch forth therefore again the hands which were let down, and the weak knees,

But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, rejoice not: neither be liars against the truth.

let the same know, that he which converted the sinner from going astray out of his way, shall save a soul from death, and shall hide the multitude of sins. {Here ends the General Epistle of James}

Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know it beforehand: Beware, lest ye be also plucked away with the error of the wicked, and fall from your own steadfastness;

Woe be unto them, for they have followed the way of Cain, and are utterly given to the error of Balaam for lucre's sake, and are cast away in the treason of Korah.
