Treasury of Scripture Knowledge

Be ye also patient; stablish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh.

But if we hope for something that we do not see, we wait for it patiently.

But the harvest of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, good temper, kindliness, generosity, fidelity,

and to wait for the coming of his Son from heaven ??the Son whom he raised from the dead, Jesus who rescues us from the Wrath to come.

May the Lord direct your hearts towards God's love and towards Christ's patience!

Now do not drop that confidence of yours; it carries with it a rich hope of reward.

Hold out stedfast and you win your souls.

For in a little, a very little now, The Coming One will arrive without delay.
