Jeremiah 23:11

The Unfaithful Prophets

¹⁰ For the land is full of adulterers. For because of swearing the land mourns. The pastures of the wilderness are dried up. And their course is evil, and their might is not right. ¹¹ For both prophet and priest are profane. Yea, in my house I have found their wickedness, says LORD. ¹² Therefore their way shall be to them as slippery places in the darkness. They shall be driven on, and fall in it. For I will bring evil upon them, even the year of their visitation, says LORD.

Jeremiah 6:13

For from the least of them even to the greatest of them everyone is given to covetousness. And from the prophet even to the priest everyone deals falsely.

Zephaniah 3:4

Her prophets are airy and treacherous men. Her priests have profaned the sanctuary. They have done violence to the law.

Jeremiah 7:30

For the sons of Judah have done that which is evil in my sight, says LORD. They have set their abominations in the house which is called by my name, to defile it.
