Jeremiah 23:11

The Unfaithful Prophets

¹⁰ For the land is full of adulterers; for because of execration the land mourneth. The pastures of the wilderness are dried up; for their course is evil, and their force is not right. ¹¹ For both prophet and priest are profane: even in my house have I found their wickedness, saith Jehovah. ¹² Therefore their way shall be unto them as slippery places in the darkness; they shall be driven on, and fall therein: for I will bring evil upon them in the year of their visitation, saith Jehovah.

Jeremiah 6:13

For from the least of them even unto the greatest of them, every one is given to covetousness; and from the prophet even unto the priest, every one dealeth falsely.

Zephaniah 3:4

Her prophets are vain-glorious, treacherous persons; her priests profane the sanctuary, they do violence to the law.

Jeremiah 7:30

For the children of Judah have done evil in my sight, saith Jehovah; they have set their abominations in the house which is called by my name, to defile it.

Jeremiah 5:31

the prophets prophesy falsehood, and the priests rule by their means; and my people love to have it so. But what will ye do in the end thereof?
