Do not despise us, for Your own name’s sake;
Do not disgrace the throne of Your glory;
Remember and do not annul Your covenant with us.

A glorious throne on high from the beginning

Is the place of our sanctuary.

Thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, “Once again they will speak this word in the land of Judah and in its cities when I restore their fortunes,
‘The Lord bless you, O abode of righteousness,
O holy hill!’

Glorious things are spoken of you,

O city of God.

Selah.

In the year of King Uzziah’s death I saw the Lord sitting on a throne, lofty and exalted, with the train of His robe filling the temple.

Thus says the Lord,
“Heaven is My throne and the earth is My footstool.
Where then is a house you could build for Me?
And where is a place that I may rest?

Now above the expanse that was over their heads there was something resembling a throne, like

lapis lazuli in appearance; and on that which resembled a throne, high up, was a figure with the appearance of a man.

He said to me, “Son of man, this is the place of My throne and the place of the soles of My feet, where I will dwell among the sons of Israel forever. And the house of Israel will not again defile My holy name, neither they nor their kings, by their harlotry and by the

corpses of their kings when they die,

But the Jerusalem above is free; she is our mother.

And all the nations

Now it will come about that

In the last days

The mountain of the house of the Lord
Will be established as the chief of the mountains,
And will be raised above the hills;
And all the nations will stream to it.

“Lift up your eyes and look around;

All of them gather together, they come to you.

As I live,” declares the Lord,

“You will surely put on all of them as jewels and bind them on as a bride.

“Nations will come to your light,
And kings to the brightness of your rising.

Then they shall bring all your brethren from all the nations as a grain offering to the Lord, on horses, in chariots, in litters, on mules and on camels, to My holy mountain Jerusalem,” says the Lord, “just as the sons of Israel bring their grain offering in a clean vessel to the house of the Lord.

And it will come about in the last days
That the mountain of the house of the Lord
Will be established as the chief of the mountains.
It will be raised above the hills,
And the peoples will stream to it.

“Many nations will join themselves to the Lord in that day and will become My people. Then I will dwell in your midst, and you will know that the Lord of hosts has sent Me to you.

“Thus says the Lord of hosts, ‘It will yet be that peoples will come, even the inhabitants of many cities.

To the name

Indeed, while following the way of Your judgments, O Lord,
We have waited for You eagerly;

Your name, even Your memory, is the desire of our souls.

“Also the foreigners who join themselves to the Lord,
To minister to Him, and to love the name of the Lord,
To be His servants, every one who keeps from profaning the sabbath
And holds fast My covenant;

So they will fear the name of the Lord from the west
And His glory from the rising of the sun,
For He will come like a rushing stream
Which the wind of the Lord drives.

Walk

Yet they did not obey or incline their ear, but walked in their own counsels and in the stubbornness of their evil heart, and

went backward and not forward.

but have walked after the stubbornness of their heart and after the Baals, as their fathers taught them,”

Yet they did not obey or incline their ear, but walked, each one, in the stubbornness of his evil heart; therefore I brought on them all the words of this covenant, which I commanded them to do, but they did not.’”

You too have done evil, even more than your forefathers; for behold, you are each one walking according to the stubbornness of his own evil heart, without listening to Me.

But they will say, ‘It’s hopeless! For we are going to follow our own plans, and each of us will act according to the stubbornness of his evil heart.’

The Lord

smelled the soothing aroma; and the Lord said to Himself, “I will never again curse the ground on account of man, for the intent of man’s heart is evil from his youth; and I will never again destroy every living thing, as I have done.

It shall be a tassel for you to look at and remember all the commandments of the Lord, so as to do them and not follow after your own heart and your own eyes, after which you played the harlot,

For even though they knew God, they did not honor Him as God or give thanks, but they became futile in their speculations, and their foolish heart was darkened.

For sin shall not be master over you, for you are not under law but under grace.

for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but divinely powerful for the destruction of fortresses.

So this I say, and affirm together with the Lord, that you walk no longer just as the Gentiles also walk, in the futility of their mind,
