An Invasion From The North

²⁶ I beheld, and, behold, Carmel was a wilderness, and all its cities were broken down at the presence of the LORD and by his fierce anger. ²⁷ For thus says the Lord,
“The whole land shall be a desolation,
Yet I will not execute a complete destruction.
²⁸ For this shall the earth be made desolate, and the heavens above be darkened because I spoke; I purposed and did not repent, neither will I turn back from it.

Jeremiah 5:10

Go ye up upon her walls and destroy; but make not a full end; take away her battlements for they are not the LORD's.

Ezekiel 11:13
