An Invasion From The North

²⁷ For thus hath the LORD said, The whole land shall be desolate; yet I will not make a full end. ²⁸ “For this the earth shall mourn
And the heavens above be dark,
Because I have spoken, I have purposed,
And I will not change My mind, nor will I turn from it.”
²⁹ The whole city fled from the thunder of the horsemen and bowmen; they went into the thickets of the forests and climbed up upon the rocks; every city was forsaken, and not a man dwells therein.
